Henry Collier, 76, of Smithfield died Monday, June 2. He was a former resident of the Polly Watson Crossroads community in Wayne County.

The funeral will be at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 5, at Wilson Memorial Service, 2811 Fieldstream Drive, Wilson. The family will receive friends after the service. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday, June 6, in the Collier family cemetery at Polly Watson Crossroads, N.C. 581, Kenly.

Surviving are a daughter, Norma Jean Moore of Lucama; a son, Tony Collier of Newport; two sisters, Lillie Gray Fredette of Wilson and Jean Smith of Lucama; a brother, Donald Ray Collier of Clemmons; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorial contributions to the Medicine Intensive Care Unit at UNC Hospitals, 101 Manning Drive, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27514.
